Just 10 days and counting.....

With just 10 days to go until our Ladies Evening on Saturday 3rd September bookings for tickets are flooding in. Ladies Evening Wolverhampton has become an event not to be missed in recent years and this year is no exception.

The restaurants and hospitality packages are all sold out but tickets are still available for the public enclosures and start at just £10pp with accompanied under 18's admitted FREE of charge. £10 for evening racing plus fantastic live entertainment - that is great value!

Ladies Evening is without a doubt our most popular fixture of the year . Dressing up is very much the theme of the event and we have some amazing prizes for the winners of the Best Dressed Lady, Best Hat and Best Dressed Couple competitions.

The competitions will be held during racing and we have a fantastic line up of judges this year. Checking out the fashion on the evening we have model and winner of the Style award at Aintrees ladies day Lystra Adams, celebrity hairdresser Royston Blythe, Miss Black Country 2011 and Miss England finalist Roshni Pink and Beacon Radio's drive time host James Carpenter. James will also be hosting the competitions on stage in the Grandstand Enclosure and said "I am delighted to be part of the judging panel for Ladies Evening 2011, I expect we will have some very difficult decisions as the standard or fashion and style is always so high at these events. I am looking forward to the racing too - I may even have a little flutter!"

Details on the fantastic prizes up for grabs will be announced on our facebook page over the next few days - click here to like us. We will be encouraging people to upload their photos to our facebook page on the evening and will be giving away FREE tickets for future racedays to those who do.

The entertainment will continue after racing with live music from Battle Of The Divas so racegoers can dance away the rest of the night. Click here to see a video of the band.

All ladies who PRE BOOK their tickets will receive a complimentary drink upon arrival at the racecourse on the evening.

Nathan Corden, Head of Commercial Development at Wolverhampton Racecourse Racecourse said "we are thrilled to have sold out all of our restaurants and hospitality suites but we still have room in our public enclosures! Pre-booking tickets is advisable as it is such a busy event for us and of course ladies who pre-book tickets receive a complimentary drink. I am so pleased that we have an outdoor band for 2011 so the live entertainment is available to all racegoers and with tickets from just £10 we are offering fantastic value for money".
