Refurbishment work well under way!

Wolverhampton Racecourse is looking ahead to the rest of the year, with a major revamp of its conferencing and banqueting facilities. The racecourse, Britain's first floodlit and busiest with 100 fixtures in 2011, is having a major refurbishment. The work started in April with completion expected early June. The official re-opening of the newly refurbished facilities will take place on the 11th July when invited guests will enjoy a tour of the new facilities and hopefully another exciting evening race.
The refurbishment includes the Wulfrun and Dunstall Suites and all 8 hospitality suites. All new décor, fixtures/fittings, bars and furniture will added during the re-fit. The new facilities will ensure we can continue to offer great hospitality and events, as well as ensuring we remain one of the Wolverhampton leading event venues in the West Midlands.

Nathan Corden, Head of Commercial Development "We recognise the importance of continued investment in our facilities and the refurbishment will ensure we can offer our client top class conferencing and events facilities as well as being a superb racing hospitality venue. Our wedding clients will also benefit from the new décor/furnishings".
