More than 3,500 people are expected for the annual ladies evening
at Wolverhampton Racecourse, this year taking place on Saturday 7th September.
One of racing's greatest traditions,
ladies evening provides racegoers with the opportunity to dress in their
finery, and on Saturday evening ladies that dazzle with their hats and shoes
will have the chance to win some fabulous prizes, courtesy of Boutiqued, Bella
Sposa Bridal, Lisa Shepherd Salons and Wolverhampton Racecourse.
The gates open for the event at 4pm with
the seven race card scheduled to begin at 6pm. The various judging panels will
judge the 'best dressed lady', 'best shoes' and 'best hat' at regular
intervals throughout the evening.
Post racing at 9:15, The Bon Jovi
Experience will be performing their set on the outdoor stage for all racegoers
to enjoy late into the evening.
The evening is taking place in association
with Breast Cancer Care and the racecourse will be donating £1 of every 'Ladies
Evening Pink Package' purchased to the charity.
