Just in case you didn't know already, it's Lincoln Trial Day this Saturday! We can't wait for it, darts, racing and the launch of our new mascot! What more can you ask for?! If you haven't heard about our special racing day, read below for more information.
Saturday 10th March sees two prestigious races come to Wolverhampton Racecourse. The New William Hill i-Phone App Lady Wulfruna Stakes, a class 1 handicap run over 7 furlongs worth £35,000, and the prestigious William Hill Lincoln Trial over 1 mile.
The prestigious races, held at the racecourse each year, will showcase the best of all weather racing on the Black Country track. Racing enthusiasts will undoubtedly see some of the best horses, trainers and jockeys at the racecourse during this Saturday afternoon fixture, but the sporting heritage doesn't stop there.
Darting legends Eric Bristow and Keith Deller will also be at the racecourse in a Pro/Am challenge. The two, who met countless times throughout the years, but most notably in the 1983 BDO World Championship Final, will be on hand to partner two highest scoring amateurs throughout the day. Darts fans simply have to step up to the oche in Ringside and throw nine darts between races to be in with a chance of a partnering the two ex-world champions.
